Official Rules
1. No Purchase Necessary
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Entry is completely free. There is no cost to enter and no purchase, payment, or other consideration is required or accepted to enter this Giveaway.
2. Sponsor
This giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored and administered by FriendTech Ventures, LLC (“Sponsor”), doing business as Friends & Foils, 1300 South Boulevard, Suite B28, Charlotte, NC 28203.
3. Eligibility
Open to individuals who are at least 13 years of age at the time of entry. There is no residency restriction. Entrants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter, and a parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the entry on the minor’s behalf. If a winner is under 18, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian on the minor’s behalf. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
4. Entry Period
The Giveaway begins at the first Friends & Foils trade night on August 19, 2026 and ends at the close of the Friends & Foils trade night on Thursday, September 17, 2026 (the “Entry Period”), local time. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
5. How to Enter
All entries must be made in person and free of charge at Tabbris, 1300 South Boulevard, South End, Charlotte, NC, during Friends & Foils trade nights within the Entry Period. There is no online, mail-in, or phone entry.
To enter, complete a free entry slip in person with the required information. You may submit one (1) free entry per person, per trade night during the Entry Period. No purchase is necessary to enter or to receive an entry slip, and purchasing anything does not increase your number of entries or your chances of winning.
You must be present in person to enter. You do not need to be present at the drawing to win. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, duplicative (more than one per person per trade night), or that do not comply with these rules are void.
6. Odds of Winning
Every eligible entry has an equal chance of being selected. Each eligible person receives one (1) free entry per trade night; a person who attends multiple trade nights during the Entry Period will accumulate additional entries at no cost. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
7. Winner Selection & Drawing
One (1) winner will be selected in a random manual drawing from all eligible entry slips on or about Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Friends & Foils trade night. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor by randomly drawing one physical entry slip at the shop. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding.
8. Winner Notification & Claim
The winner will be notified by email and/or in person using the information provided at entry. The winner must claim the prize in person at Tabbris, 1300 South Boulevard, South End, Charlotte, NC within 30 days of notification and may be required to show valid photo ID (or, for a minor, a parent/legal guardian must claim on the minor’s behalf and show ID). If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or does not claim the prize within that period, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner drawn.
9. Prize
One (1) prize: a sealed 30th Anniversary Pokémon Elite Trainer Box. Approximate retail value (“ARV”): $59.99. Only one (1) prize will be awarded. The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other substitution is offered, except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
10. Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
11. Privacy & Communications
Information you provide at entry is collected by the Sponsor solely to administer this Giveaway and to contact the winner. The Sponsor will not add you to any marketing or email list unless you affirmatively opt in by checking the separate opt-in box on the entry slip. If you opt in, you may unsubscribe at any time; every marketing email will identify the Sponsor, include a valid physical mailing address, and provide a working opt-out mechanism. For an entrant under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide any marketing opt-in on the minor’s behalf.
12. General Conditions
By entering, each entrant (or, for a minor, the entrant’s parent or legal guardian) agrees to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these rules. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs its integrity, subject to applicable law.
13. Limitation of Liability
By entering, entrants (or, for a minor, the entrant’s parent or legal guardian) release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its owners, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damage, injury, or expense arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance or use of the prize, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these rules limits liability for gross negligence, willful or wanton conduct, or intentional harm, or for any liability that may not be limited under applicable law.
14. Publicity
Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize permits the Sponsor to announce the winner’s first name, last initial, and city. Any broader promotional use of a winner’s name, likeness, or image is optional and requires the winner’s separate written consent (and, for a minor, the written consent of a parent or legal guardian); it is not a condition of winning or receiving the prize.
15. Governing Law
This Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

To request the name of the winner, ask in person at Tabbris after the drawing date, or email hello@friendsandfoils.com.

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, The Pokémon Company International, or any of their affiliates. “Pokémon” and “Elite Trainer Box” are trademarks of their respective owners. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
